"I try to be as natural as possible to give my sculptures a more down to earth look and feel. Hey man, it's clay! Earth, Water & Fire rolled in to one. I hardly use any glaze (color)on my pieces so that I may showcase more of the natural clay's beauty. I also use a once-firing process which keeps energy costs down. This also helps with the overall feel of the piece. The stands are made of wood from our land that is cut and sawed up at a local mill. We decided some years back that the undergrowth on the land needed to grow up. So in thinking on behalf of good land management we did what needed to be done. Also jute (hemp) is used to hang the sculptures."

Artist Statement:
I hope my sculptures carry a positive and meaningful message for all to enjoy!
