BEGINNER’S CLASSES
INTRODUCTION TO YOGA
Our 8-week BEGINNER’S YOGA CLASS SERIES - called “INTRODUCTION to YOGA” - will accommodate all aspiring students new to yoga. In this series of classes, the basic postures and warm-ups of Kripalu yoga are taught in detail, with attention to safety in alignment and transition.
Classes build body awareness and sensitivity through a gradual opening of one’s innate flexibility and inner strengths. Increased health and well being are benefits. This series is a preparation for the depth and intensity of the guided experiences of Intermediate Yoga as one continues to practice.
Focus, intention and compassion for personal needs and abilities are major components of the process of Kripalu yoga.
